That picture above is one of our first days back in Corfu. We had gone down to the beach to survey some of the damage from the floods that happened here in November. While it was absolutely nothing compared to the devastation happening around the world at the moment, it was a pretty big deal here at the time. On that beach, there was some significant damage and a pretty large crater where a restaurant used to be. If we look exhausted, it is because we are.
We had a WONDERFUL time in Alabama. I have many pictures to post. While I fully intended to keep up the blog while back in the States, I was WAY too distracted/ busy/ entertained to sit in front of the computer at all. Which is not something I can complain about. I really missed blogging, though, and I could not wait to start back.
Since we got back to Corfu, we have been busy busy getting the house all clean and ready for baby Vasilaki to make her grand appearance (much more on that later....all healthy and happy and full steam ahead on that front.) It also took quite a while to readjust to our time zone. I almost never have trouble with that, but I am also not usually 32 weeks pregnant when I attempt to reset my body clock after 48 hours with a total of 0 hours sleep. It is not at all easy...or fun for that matter. But, most missions are now accomplished, and we are settling in and just waiting for baby.
As I said, many pictures are on the way as well as lots of updates. For now, here is a sneak peak of the last few months.

ReplyDeleteYippee! Haley's back to blogging. This is a wonderful way to keep in touch. We SO-O-O enjoyed our visits and loved being part of the excitement and anticipation of baby Maria. Won't be long now! Can't wait to see a picture of the rocking chair. Much love to my Greek heartbeats!!!!!
